Dit Da Jow (Northern Shaolin) is macerated (soaked) in alcohol for at least a year and comes with a certificate to verify this. The nineteen different Authenticated Dao Di Chinese herbs are ground into a powder to give an increased surface area so more of the active ingredients are extracted from the herbs into the 25% V/V alcohol.     I have purchased Dot Da Jow liniment for my mum. She broke her leg really badly. The liniment worked wonders, the swelling that she had reduced significantly just after a few applications. She is using it dayly now to improve circulation and speed up healing process. Highly recommended!
