Chinese Herbal Medicine

Chinese Herbal Medicine is used in the treatment of a wide range of health conditions. They are used holistically concentrating on symptoms and patterns of disharmony rather than Western Medical diagnosis and disease labels. Over 400 plants are used in Chinese herbal medicine and although this includes commonly known herbs such as cinnamon, ginger, mint and goji berry, many others are used that are less well known in the UK.

David originally became interested in Chinese Herbal Medicine in 2005 and completed a short course on Chinese Patent Herbal Medicine with Shulan Tang’s School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. After using these patent formulations with patients and seeing the results he decided to study a full 3-year programme in Chinese Herbal Medicine with Shulan Tang which he successfully completed in 2008. Since then David has continued to prescribe and use Chinese herbal formulations to improve the health of his patients, friends, family and of course himself.

All Chinese Herbal Medicine formulations are made and dispensed on site from our extensive range of raw herbs which are all plant based and contain no animal products. The capsules used to encapsulate the powdered formulations are cellulose based and contain no gelatine.

Since 2015 David has specialised in the formulation and sell of Dit Da Jow products widely across the UK and Europe. Dit Da Jow (Full Hit Wine) is a blend of Chinese herbs specially formulated to stimulate circulation, reduce pain and swelling, and improve the healing of injuries and bruising. Many customers have found this Dit Da Jow useful for reducing pain associated with arthritis, Rheumatism and aching muscles. Martial Arts practitioners use the Dit Da Jow liniment for Iron Palm training and as a bruise juice.
