How Aromatherapy Massage can help me ?

Aromatherapy Massage has both physiological and psychological effects on a person. The massage combined with the medicinal and therapeutic properties of the oils can soothe, uplift, relax, encourage positive thoughts, boost the immune system and encourage a general sense of well-being. This therapy is great to increase energy levels and promote a sense of deep relaxation, but also to reduce fluid retention and muscular tension. On a psychological level it may reduce nervous tension and anxiety, calm and soothe overworked mind and reduce feelings of depression.

What happens during Aromatherapy Massage session ?

During an aromatherapy massage the essential oils, which consist of tiny aromatic molecules, are absorbed by the skin and inhaled into the lungs. This aromatic molecules then enter the blood stream and are then carried around the body where they can deliver their natural health benefits. The smell of essential oils triggers the part of the brain which releases emotion which is why it can really affect the way you feel.

Each treatment is tailored specifically to the individual client. A consultation is carried out before the treatment begins so that the therapist can make a synergistic blend specific to your needs, taking into account your medical history, emotional condition, lifestyle, as well as physical and physiological aspects- looking at your wellbeing as a whole.
